Our Roots
The Progress Reports is inspired by the legacy of the WPA Federal Writers’ Project (1935–1943), a cultural effort that documented American life during a moment of profound change. We carry forward the spirit of that work at a local scale in southwest Idaho, telling the stories of our home and the people shaping our future.
Who We Are Part Of
The Progress Reports is a publication of the Works Progress Administration, a project of many members of our community dedicated to community work, food-system progress, ecological stewardship, and public-interest storytelling.
We are not affiliated with the U.S. Government.
